"It doesn't matter what people tell you. It doesn't matter what they might say. Sometimes you have to leave home. Sometimes, running away means you're headed in the exact right direction."
— Alice Hoffman (Practical Magic)
You get to a point where things no longer matter. You get tired of trying to prove things and just want to be around those who matter. The fight doesn’t matter because honestly the reason why it all happened is no longer a factor and you realize that those who want to be apart of your life, will. And those who don’t just won’t. So you stop caring. And everything becomes irrelevant. And you forget why you were ever mad in the first place because you’re simply too tired to talk about why it all happened. All you want is to be. And even though they think it’s on their terms it’s really on yours. You learn to keep it all surface and superficial. Cause in the end it is what it is.
